Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino had a heart-to-heart before his wedding ... but the sit-down wasn't with his soon-to-be wife. It was with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

The 'Jersey Shore' stars had a powwow Wednesday night at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel in Morristown, NJ ... one day before Sitch weds Lauren Pesce. You hear Mike talk about Ronnie being his best man at his wedding and hopes one day Ronnie reverses the honor.

Mike and his fiancee rolled up to the hotel in an SUV and they beelined it for their room. Ronnie was already there when the couple checked in ... and a few hours later, Sitch and Ronnie had their chitchat in the lobby.

Mike just posted this ... "Today I marry my best friend, My College Sweetheart, My everything. Together as a team we can accomplish anything ... I promise to be my best self everyday & make you proud to call yourself Mrs. Sorrentino."

Mike and Lauren are getting married just months before he heads off to serve an 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion.

There's a tough road ahead, but Mike's keeping it positive ... with the help of some baller wedding gifts.

'The Situation' Happy Holidays!!! ... Won't Go to Prison Until 2019

For a guy who's going to prison, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's got a lot to smile about because he won't be locked up until next year ... TMZ has learned.

According to docs filed Monday ... Sitch must surrender to the Bureau of Prisons no sooner than January 15, 2019. As we told you, Mike was sentenced to 8 months in the federal pen for tax evasion -- but the surrender date means he'll get to enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year with his "Jersey Shore" friends and fam.

And remember, Mike's getting married to his fiancee, Lauren Pesce, next month ... so, he can even squeeze in a honeymoon before starting his prison life.

Here's to about 3 more months of GTL'in. Then it'll pretty much be just G & L, for a while.

Nick Jonas I Bought a Cool Home For My Wife-to-Be!!!

Nick Jonas might have been looking ahead when he dropped millions on a pad before popping the question to Priyanka Chopra.

Nick's the new owner of the swanky $6.5 million crib in Beverly Hills Post Office -- for all you out-of-towners, it's adjacent to Bev Hills and shares the same zip code -- who popped the question to Priyanka 3 months later.

The house is pretty incredible -- 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms sit on 4,129 square feet. The pad's an architectural masterpiece ... featuring expansive canyon views, a floating guest wing and an extended wood terrace that wraps around the swimming pool.

Fun fact -- there are lots of homes on L.A. mountainsides where the backyards are cantilevered and seem to be floating. They're super reinforced to withstand earthquakes ... hopefully.

Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Engagement Was Hollow ... No Wedding Planned

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson both seemed to know marriage wasn't in the cards, even after they got engaged, because they never lifted a finger to seal the deal.

They got engaged in June, and our sources say an entire summer passed without locking down a venue, buying a wedding dress, or even picking a date. We are told Ariana talked about a wedding with her mom, but that's all it was ... talk.

The months of inaction predate the death of Ariana's ex, Mac Miller, last month. As we reported, Mac's death was the beginning of the end of Ariana and Pete's relationship, because she was emotionally paralyzed.

The only real signs of happily ever after were a $100,000 engagement ring -- which she's already given back -- and a pet pig which she's kept.

Hailey Baldwin Call Me Bieber ... Files Name Trademark

Hailey Baldwin is taking getting "wifed up" to a whole new level ... filing legal docs to possibly cash in on her hubby's famous last name.

Baldwin submitted an application -- obtained by TMZ -- to register the trademark for the name Hailey Bieber. The application doesn't say much, but she's made one thing clear ... the trademark is meant to cover a possible clothing project in the future.

TMZ broke the story ... Justin and Hailey headed to an NYC courthouse early last month to obtain their marriage license. We later learned the two actually got legally hitched that day in a courthouse ceremony.

The new couple hasn't had a big wedding yet, but we're told that'll likely happen in the next few months in upstate New York or Bieber's native Canada.

The face of Estée Lauder and Adidas married Joshua on Thursday, less than 3 months after announcing their engagement ... and they had a small, Jewish ceremony in upstate New York. The 26-year-old model and 33-year-old entrepreneur started dating way back in 2012.

The 38-year-old Pau and the former USC cheerleader have been IG official dating back to 2016 ... and have been inseparable ever since -- taking hot vacations together and other mushy coupley stuff.

Only the best for Mike when he's done with his 8-month sentence for tax evasion ... the Sorrentinos want a $550 blender, $500 juicer, $380 dutch oven, $375 knife set and $180 pasta press ... 'cause he'll be tired of those cheap prison meals by the time he's a free man again.

The Sitch is probably dreading his jail cot ... but there's light at the end of the tunnel, because he and Lauren are asking for a $673 down comforter and $379 ivory sheepskin rug. Super comfy.

No more mopping floors when he gets home either ... they want a $300 robot to mop and a $400 robot to vacuum.

And, if you splurge on the $150 flatware sets (they want 3), don't expect the newlyweds to use any of it to prepare an avocado ... no, they need a special tool for those pesky fruits.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin might be married under the eyes of the law -- but they don't think they'll truly be until they proclaim it under the eyes of God.

Our Bieber/Baldwin sources tell us Justin and Hailey don't consider themselves "officially" married ... because they haven't cemented their vows with the man upstairs. We're told they believe a church ceremony is necessary to make the marriage meaningful in the eyes of God.

We broke the story ... Justin and Hailey walked into a marriage license courthouse in NYC last month where, as it turns out, they also got the document that made them man and wife ... despite denying -- both publicly and behind the scenes -- they were hitched.

What's unclear ... if they don't really feel "married" until they have a church wedding, why did they even bother to do it at the courthouse?

As we reported, Justin and Hailey inquired about a prenup and even contacted lawyers, but they never followed through. They could get a postnup -- which is like a prenup only after they're married -- but our sources say at this point it's the furthest thing from Justin's mind.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married -- TMZ has learned -- and for some reason, they chose to lie about it.

Justin and Hailey actually tied the knot last month in NYC -- the same day they got their marriage license at the courthouse. They had a preacher on hand -- Jeffrey Quinn, a member of the faculty at Nyack College near the courthouse.

The witness was Josh Mehl, a friend of Justin's who attends Churchome in Los Angeles.

Fact is ... People mag got it right.

As we reported, Justin and Hailey both reached out to lawyers for a prenup, but now the plot thickens. We're told they reached out the very same day they got hitched, but there was no way to get a prenup drafted and signed that quickly.

So, Justin and Hailey got married without a prenup and there's been no movement to have one drafted now. It's called a postnup -- same as a prenup but signed after the marriage.

One source said Justin is so in love he doesn't see the need for one. How's this for a need -- Justin's net worth is estimated at $250 million and Hailey is reportedly worth a couple of mil.

We're told they still plan to have a formal ceremony, but it would be a ceremony in name only because they are already husband and wife.
