Sible Hedingham: Man Dies After Crash
A cyclist has died after being knocked off his bike in Sible Hedingham.
The 23 year-old was riding along Swan Street towards Halstead yesterday evening (Sunday, October 21) when the he collided with a car going in the same direction.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford where he was in a critical condition.
He died this morning with his family at his bedside.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident and anyone with information is asked to telephone the Serious Collision Investigation unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk.
