A Colorado mother pleaded guilty Wednesday in the death of her 3-year-old son whom she left alone for three days in a cabin without running water. Meghan McKeon, 25, from Steamboat Springs, was sentenced to 22 years in prison after entering a guilty plea to one count of fatal child abuse. Prosecutors agreed to drop a second child abuse charge in as part of the plea agreement. Two suspected shoplifters making a run for it accidentally turned themselves in when they ran into a police station. Marwan Al Ebadi, 28, and Salma Hourieh, 29, ignited a police car chase in Phoenix when cops responded to reports that the pair were shoplifting in a mall plaza in Lake Pleasant Parkway on February 16. But in their frantic flee the duo didn't realize they dashed right into the arms of authorities when they hopped the fence of Peoria Police Station to hide, which was all caught on security surveillance.

Successful people are rallying around Keaton Jones, a Tennessee middle-school student who described the bullying he's endured in a video that has gone viral. In many cases, the celebrities hailing Jones for coming forward were once the victims of childhood bullying themselves.
