Police investigating the disappearance of Coventry woman Nicola Payne have been searching a lake in a country park. Nicola Payne went missing more than 20 years ago in 1991 following her disappearance as she walked to her parents' house.  West Midlands Police say they have been searching Coombe Abbey Country Park following a preliminary sonar examination of the lake by Home Office scientists.  They say they will carry out more once further analysis of the site takes place.
